Sneak peek at Tweed River rehab results

In the shadow of Wollumbin National Park, our specialist staff have worked with client Tweed Shire Council and North Coast Local Land Services to restore a section of the Tweed River. This teaser highlights some of the work on site and majesty of the area!

Noteworthy is the placement of a 200-meter rock revetment, followed by the implementation of over 1600 hardwood pins. These 4.5m logs were honed to a chisel point and driven into the bar using vibratory and hammer attachments.

Watch this space as a longer video is in production and will be released shortly. This project was funded by the NSW Government under the Marine Estate Management Strategy. The ten-year Strategy was developed by the NSW Marine Estate Management Authority to coordinate the management of the marine estate.
